#109 Unconventional Time Saving Life Hacks That Will Save You Hours At Work - Work From Home Series

We are wasting our time and we know it too! So what do we do about it to get more done in less time?

First, we need to understand what Parkinson's Law is and why it impacts us every day, especially at work.

Parkinson's Law basically says that if we set aside 30 minutes to do something, it will take 30 minutes to do, even if we could have done it in 15 minutes.

A lot of times, we notice this in meetings that could've been an email or a quick chat but just keeps going on and on.

Next, I discovered that by moving my standard meeting to 20 minutes instead of 30 minutes, I freed up hours every week and got the same amount of work done in less time!

If you are someone who works from home or remotely, these principles can make a huge difference in the amount of time it takes to finish a project. Give yourself less time and you'll be shocked how you still manage to get it done!
