What podcasting for 2 years has done for me…

  • Increased my network
  • I’ve developed 5 different skills (audio engineering, video editing, social media management, graphic design and communication skills)
  • Skill stacking makes you dangerous and valuable
  • Learned new ways to make money they don’t teach you in school

If you can do something purposeful for 2 years, it will change your life, many times in ways we don’t think.

And if you are going, I can’t do anything for 2 years…think about things you would consider bad habits. 

  • Drinking 2x soda a day
  • Eating candy daily 
  • Only brushing your teeth 3x a week

Those were habits I had for over 2 years and I was DEDICATED. I was consistent. What did it get me?

  • 5 cavities 
  • 2 root canals in 2 years (only had like 3 cavities my entire life before that)
  • $7000+ in dental fees
  • Was 19lbs over my ideal weight

We are creatures of habit and therefore consistent in our nature. We don’t like change. You are consistent at something. The question to ask yourself is this…

ā€œAre my habits driving me towards the life I want?ā€

If not, then ask this…

ā€˜If I could cut one bad behavior down by 50% today and stay consistent with it, what would that do for me?ā€

Start small. Think long-term. Change your life.
